GTM Engineer (Sales)

About the role

Alloy.ai is hiring a GTM Engineer on its Sales team in Vancouver to build its pipeline engine and run it. You'll generate pipeline by prospecting through automation, running volume outreach yourself through the systems you build: a fast, qualified response to every inbound lead and signal-based outbound that reaches consumer brands at the right moment. You'll also own the data and systems underneath, using signals and AI so the go-to-market gets sharper over time, and you'll be measured on the pipeline your systems generate.

What you'll do

  • Inbound: automate qualification and first response for contact-us, demo and partner leads, route each lead with an enriched research brief, and set and track the speed-to-lead SLA
  • Outbound: run signal-based campaigns end to end (list building, enrichment, messaging, sequencing), own deliverability (domains, warmup, suppression, send limits) and A/B test messaging by segment
  • Sales enablement: deliver a daily prioritised call list for every AE and SDR with who, why now, a direct dial and a talk track; route engaged replies to SDRs; capture call activity
  • Systems: build and maintain integrations between Salesforce, HubSpot, enrichment and sequencing tools, own fields, objects and routing rules, and instrument attribution and response times

Alloy is open to someone building GTM automation for the first time if they have a strong engineering, data or quantitative foundation. The same role is also posted for Denver with a different pay range. Note that Lever shows this Vancouver range in USD; confirm currency with the recruiter.

What they ask for

  • Technical foundation in CS, engineering, data or a quantitative field (degree or equivalent work) and 1–5 years of experience
  • 1+ years writing product code, ideally in Python or TypeScript
  • Can build third-party API integrations, handling auth, pagination, rate limits and retries unsupervised
  • Fluent with agent harnesses such as Claude Code, Antigravity or Codex
  • Has automated someone else's workflow and can describe the before and after
  • Evidence of self-directed building: side projects, automations or tools
  • Commercial curiosity about why buyers buy
  • Explains technical work clearly to Sales and Marketing and is comfortable being measured on pipeline

Nice to have

  • Exposure to Salesforce, HubSpot, Clay, Apollo or similar
  • Time in sales, SDR, growth or marketing ops
  • Interest in CPG, retail or supply chain
  • Startup experience

Benefits

  • Base salary $90,000–$120,000 (as listed)
