About the role
CodeRabbit already has agents that write, review and ship its Salesforce and internal tooling code: a Linear label or Slack emoji kicks off a pipeline where an agent plans, a human approves, and the agent builds and tests. This Staff GTM Systems Engineer owns and grows that system.
Full-time, hybrid in San Francisco.
What you'll do
- Own the agent build pipeline, guard hooks, worktree tooling, CI, model routing and the permission tiers that keep agents safe near production
- Build internal tools and agents as full-stack apps (TypeScript, Next.js, Postgres, MCP servers)
- Work deep in Salesforce: Apex patterns, triggers, LWC, Platform Events, permissions, metadata deploys
- Set engineering standards for Business Systems (architecture and code review, testing, releases, runbooks, review of agent-written work)
- Give analysts and engineers a platform to build their own agents (e.g. a Sales OS Agent, Data Quality Agent)
- Turn messy Finance, GTM, Deal Desk and Data needs into durable systems and reduce reliance on consultants
Pay: $210k-$250k target plus equity.
What they ask for
- Deep hands-on Salesforce engineering: Apex, LWC, data modelling, sharing/security, source-driven deploys with Salesforce CLI
- Strong full-stack engineering (production web apps, APIs, databases)
- Real experience with agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Codex) and their guardrails: tests, CI gates, review, scoped permissions
- End-to-end GTM systems integration (CRM, billing, CPQ, provisioning, warehouse, reverse ETL)
- Staff-level cross-team architecture ownership; clear writer
- Preferred: 7+ years Salesforce and full-stack; Python/TypeScript/Next.js
- Preferred: subscription or usage billing (Chargebee, Stripe, Zuora, marketplaces)
- Preferred: MCP servers, LLM evals, human-in-the-loop agent workflows; BigQuery, dbt, Clay
