About the role
Toast's Marketing Operations AI team is hiring a GTM Engineer focused on the website. You'll build AI workflows that speed up web production and AI-powered site experiences that turn more visits into sales opportunities.
Full-time, remote in the US.
In your first six months the goal is measurable: shorter web production cycles and higher visit-to-opportunity conversion.
What you'll do
- Map the page and copy production process (SEO, product marketing, legal, brand reviews) and automate it with intake templates, intake agents and auto-generated briefs
- Improve Contentful and connected tools with the Web Platform engineers; unblock the web scrum process
- Build first-party AI tools for the site, with prompts and evals; configure on-site chat, enrichment, voice AI and personalisation
- Define success metrics, run experiments and monitor live tools
- Document playbooks, run demos and office hours, and advise on build vs. buy
Pay: base depends on US pay zone (Zone A $124k-$198k, Zone B $108k-$173k, Zone C $97k-$155k), plus bonus or commission where eligible, equity and benefits.
What they ask for
- 5+ years in web operations, web production, CRO/growth, martech or solutions engineering, with recent hands-on AI building
- Shipped AI agents or automations teams use daily
- Ran or redesigned a website production process (CMS, intake, review, release); Contentful preferred
- Designed experiments tying web changes to pipeline
- Evals, monitoring and guardrails for customer-facing AI
- Nice to have: on-site chat, voice AI or personalisation tools
- Nice to have: LLM APIs and agent tooling (Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, MCP, RAG); Zapier, Workato, n8n
