About the role
Pika is hiring a Growth Engineer to accelerate adoption and expansion of its creative AI video platform. You'll use engineering and data to find, build and optimise the features, systems and experiments that drive user acquisition, activation, engagement and retention, working with product, design, marketing and data teams. It's hands-on engineering with a strong analytical bent, and the work reaches millions of creators.
What you'll do
- Design, build and launch growth features and experiments across the platform
- Run scalable A/B tests and personalisation to improve acquisition and retention
- Analyse data to find new growth levers and track what's working
- Prioritise and ship high-impact initiatives with product, marketing and data
- Prototype and ship new product surfaces, onboarding flows and engagement loops
- Improve performance and reliability of growth-critical features
- Build virality, referral and sharing features to expand reach
The stack is Python, Go, Node.js, Postgres, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes and AWS/GCP.
What they ask for
- 4+ years of software engineering, ideally on product or growth teams
- Has built and optimised user-facing features, preferably in consumer or SaaS products
- Experience with experimentation frameworks, A/B testing and data analysis
- Proficient with Python, Go, Node.js, TypeScript or similar
- Familiar with growth and analytics tools such as Amplitude, Segment or Google Analytics
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration
- Self-motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

- Generative AI, creative tools or social platforms
- High-growth startup or rapid experimentation roles
- Open source, hackathon or growth hacking experience
